SVP Business Development (2020-2022)

  • Sourced, developed, packaged and sold Academy partnerships, including closing a $28M five-year sponsorship with Rolex covering the Academy, the Oscars and Academy Museum

  • Reversed international distribution revenue decline during economic downturn, sustaining licensing revenue (at ~$20M+ revenue per year) despite steep domestic declines by strengthening partnerships directly with key international licensees to increase their return on investment – including fostering year-round engagement, reinforcing market-by-market exclusivity, and enhanced access to the Oscars and Academy events.

  • Devised opportunities to derive revenue from Academy assets: and create additive events and programming. Accomplishments include the inaugural edition of the AMPAS-produced Oscar post-show in 2021; and laying groundwork to turn Academy Governors Awards into a television program

Global Distribution Operations & Strategy (2000-2020)

  • Spearheaded a strategic initiative to acquire feature film titles and TV movies for international distribution, which generated over $100M in revenue.

  • Drove an 8%+ CAGR in international revenue from 2009 to 2019 for licensing of “The Oscars” – innovating sales strategy and driving strategic initiatives with the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences. Led negotiation of multi-year international distribution arrangement between Disney and A.M.P.A.S.

  • Elevated the franchise value of The Amazing Race, an Emmy Award-Winning reality television show, to $150M+ by driving a global licensing strategy and format/localization efforts to scale the popular show in 6+ international markets.

  • Instrumental in growing sales 2x by maximizing international sales revenue and creating a robust content management program/strategy.

  • Originated and instituted 360º feedback loop between sales, creative execs, and content producers as part of the creative process, which played a key factor in greenlight decisions.
